Description
A real photo postcard, "#275 Bernheimer Estate," Hollywood, Los Angeles, Bentley, postmarked 22 March 1929. The view shows portions of the miniature Japanese garden and pond, as well as a Japanese-style structure on a cement pad behind the garden. The estate, completed for the Bernheimer brothers in 1914 and which housed their extensive collection of Asian objects, is now the Yamashiro restaurant. With some soiling, a few stains and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
