A real photo postcard, "3423, Puente, Calif from the hills," dated 4 June and postmarked 10 June 1932, but taken earlier, perhaps in the late 1920s. The view is from what is now called "P Hill," or "Puente Hill" looking southwest with part of the town of Puente and, beyond it, groves and orchards including part of the Homestead, portions of City of Industry and in and below the Puente Hills in the distance, North Whittier (Hacienda) Heights. A message on the reverse to Denmark and in Danish refers to an "X'" in ink in the hills where the sender owned land. There are marginal notes on the front, but they have faded. with bumping and light soiling, the condition is good overall.
