Description
A real photographic postcard, Big Pines Campground, Los Angeles County Park, 17 April 1928. In view is the campground's entrance and a big stone archway over a wide driveway. To the left is a two story building and lodge. The ground is covered in snow and so are the stone parapets flanking the arch. A group of young men and women are gathered in front of the entrance, beside an automobile. Further in the distance is another snow covered building with a group in front. The postcard includes a postage stamp and an azo postage stamp box, partially visible. The postcard is in fair condition, moderate creasing, warping, and surface soiling.
