Description
A real photo postcard birds-eye view of the Highland Park area of Los Angeles, 1908. The view appears to be from the hills on the east side of the neighborhood and looking generally to the north. Houses, a few commercial buildings or churches, some streets, trees and, in the distance, hills and mountains, are of note. On the reverse of the postcard is a message noting that the area was Highland Park and that the aunt of the writer and recipients lived at the center near the Methodist Episcopal Church and three blocks from the Santa Fe. With some abrasions and residue at the top, soiling, corner creases and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
