Description
A real photo postcard, "Broadway Arcade Building, Los Angeles, Cal.," ca. 1920s. The view captures all but very small portions of the 11-story, height-limit structure, which has a painted sign at the upper right on the side with its name. Red, white and blue bunting decorates some of the lower sections of the structure, which was designed by MacDonald and Couchot and which opened in February 1924 at 540 S. Broadway and 541 S. Spring, the center arcade running through the structure to both streets. The title is at the bottom of the unused card which has soiling, minor staining, and abrasions and is in good condition.
