Description
A real photo postcard, "Cannas, West Lake Park, Los Angeles, Cal.," postmarked 17 May 1913. The view is taken from a wide walk and captures part of the lake, the cannas bordering it and trees on one edge of the park at left. There is a message to someone in Wales from a vacationer who proclaimed Los Angeles "much nicer than" San Francisco. With a few small stains, warping of the paper, soiling and some edge abrasion, the overall condition is good.
