Description
A real photo postcard, "Cobblestone Inn / San Fernando Road," Los Angeles, dated 4 November 1924. The view shows the rustic one-story structure faced or built of cobbles and there is a main entrance to the left, an arched window next to it and smaller square windows elsewhere, as well as one chimney at right center. A dirt road approaches the restaurant from where the photographer stood, but there is little landscaping, save a small tree at right, possibly indicating new construction for the Inn. A message on the back refers to the unusual look of the building. At the lower right is the caption, including "Dinners and / Light Lunches." With some moderate to heavy soiling and edge abrasion, the condition is fair overall.
