Description
A real photo postcard, "Crystal Lake — Near Cold Brook Camp 13," ca. 1910s. The view is taken from a hillside looking down onto the body of water. At the bottom at the lake's edge is a young woman seated contemplatively in a row boat. In the background are trees and mountain sides in the San Gabriel Mountains. Cold Brook Camp was further down San Gabriel Canyon from Crystal Lake, which is at the canyon's further reaches. The unused card has a small missing piece of the upper left corner, silvering, soiling and light rubbing and is in fair overall condition.
