Description
A real photographic postcard, El Resposo Sanatorium bungalow, Sierra Madre, Calif., ca. 1910s. The facility treated throat and lung diseases. The bungalow has two front doors visible, rocking chairs,a wood paneled roof, four large windows with four columns, and a wooden plank porch. The bungalow appears to be on a stilt foundation. Surrounding the bungalow are trees, and another structure toward the left. Printed on the bottom right is a number 1655 which could possibly be a photographer's image number. There is light abrasion damage along the edges, beginning signs of foxing but it is in good condition overall.
