Description
A real photographic postcard, " Group of Bungalows, El Reposo Sanitorium, Sierra Madre, Cal.", ca. 1910s. There are seven cabins in view, a newly planted garden and mountains in the background. On the reverse side of the post card is a description that reads: "El Reposo Sanatorium Sierra Madre, California - A Moderate Priced Sanatorium for the Treatment of Diseases of the Throat and Lungs." The number 1659 is on the bottom left of the front of the image, possibly a photographer's image number. With minor fading, light abrasion, foxing on the reverse side, and pencil writing, the object is in good condition overall.
