Description
A real photo postcard, "Home Office Building, Pacific Mututal Life Insurance Company," Los Angeles, 13 January 1922. The image, from an elevated view, shows the original Neoclassical structure with the larger addition behind it at the northwest corner of Olive and 6th streets, both still standing although the former was heavily remodeled into an Art Deco structure. A message from an employee is on the reverse. With a stain, some soiling, light silvering and slight warping, the overall condition is good.
