Description

A real photo postcard, “IN NORTH FORK CANYON NEAR COLD BROOK CAMP,” unattributed but by Bradford D. Jackson, postmarked from Glendora, 24 May 1910. The identification is confirmed by the fact that a short note to a Pasadena recipient is signed “B.D.” and Jackson resided in Glendora at the time. The image shows a man and woman, apparently in frontier costume, posed by a waterfall along a creek in the North Fork of San Gabriel Canyon. With edge bumping, a reverse stain and light soiling, the condition is good.
