Description
A real photo postcard, "Looking for Trouble / L.A. Ostrich Farm, Los Angeles," postmarked October 1915. The image is of an adult ostrich standing behind a wooden fence in a pen with its beak open and feathers up. In the background is part of an adjacent pen and a taller wooden fence. The title is in white on the middle and lower rails of the pen fence. On the reverse is a message from a farm staffer about an order of ostrich plumes not yet delivered to the recipient. With fairly heavy soiling, fading, dented corners and edge abrasions, minor mirroring toward the bottom left corner, the overall condition is fair.
