Description
A real photo postcard, "New Los Angeles City Hall," postmarked 9 September 1929. The view shows the recently-completed civic structure with its distinctive central ziggurat-topped tower and two side wings. Portions of the street and exterior area of the site are also in view. The postally used card has a message, address, stamp, postmark and cancellation. A pink line stamped on the reverse has either bled through or was partially duplicated on the front and there is a stain at the left, in addition to abrasions, soiling, and album paper residue, so the condition is fair.
