Description
A real photo postcard, "No. 32. Louis Paulhan at Los Angeles, 1910." The image shows Paulhan in his airplane flying several dozen feet about the field at the famed Dominguez air meet in January 1910. To the right is a portion of the grandstand filled with attendees. An arrow pointing left and the word "front" are written in ink at the head of Paulhan's craft. The reverse has a message referring to the breaking of a world altitude record in the course of that flight. The stamp is missing, but the postmark and cancellation are present. With browning, soiling, creased corners and edge abrasion, the overall condition is good to fair.
