A real photo postcard of a Craftsman-style house interior, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The view shows parts of two rooms. In the foreground is a living room with a Romanesque-like fireplace, wicker rockers, a wood upholstered armchair, and an Indian-style rug. Behind a curtained opening seems to be a dining room with a built-in buffet, a round table and one side chair. Paneled walls, cross-beamed ceilings, heavy beams and light fixtures are also of note. On the reverse in pencil is "118 W. Ave. 44, Los Angeles, Calif.," which just off the intersection with Figueroa Street in the Sycamore Park neighborhood. With a few small stains on the reverse, minor soiling, edge abrasions, and fading, the condition is good.Lexicon
