Description
A real photo postcard of a dirt road in San Gabriel Canyon, ca. 1918. The narrow road wends through two rock sections with a small section of the river visible at the left behind some small trees. In the distance are faces of the rocky mountain sides. On the reverse of the unused card is a stamped: "At Camp Rincon, San Gabriel Canyon." There is also a pencil inscription: "another part of / the way we came." With some stains, soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
