Description
A real photo postcard of a father and children on a rock along the trail in Little Santa Anita Canyon, postmarked 26 December 1911. The view shows the man and children, all of the latter wearing white dresses, standing atop the very large rock, which is presumably along a trail on a heavily wooded and shaded part of the canyon. Trees, bushes and what looks like sunlit hillside are also in view. A message on the reverse identifies the scene and dates it to Thanksgiving Day. The postage stamp, postmark and cancellation are also on the reverse. With heavy browning, minor soiling and moderate abrasion, the overall condition is fair
