Description
Snapshot of storm drain construction, South Los Angeles, 28 May 1925. As a response to the flooded streets at Figueroa and Manchester in March 1925, this image depicts an Edwards Brothers machine digging a trench and depositing dirt in a truck in the middle of Figueroa. The photo is slightly curved, but shows little soiling or wear and is in good condition.
