A real photo postcard of a flooded street in Los Angeles, 7 April 1926. The view is of an intersection with water rushing through the two thoroughfares, a few cars in the scene, and portions of two commercial buildings, one having a laundry and the other being the Van Camp Apartments. Below the image is an ink inscription reading, "Sunny California." An "X" in ink is above a window on the apartment building. An ink inscription on the reverse reads "April 7, 1926 L.A. Cal / at 3:20 high tide / what." With minor stains, soiling, and edge abrasions, and moderate fading the condition is fair.
