Description
A real photo postcard of a group of nine persons standing and sitting on a handcar on the Southern Pacific railroad tracks in La Puente, ca. 1910. The group including a young girl, three women and five men are posed in front of a large brick building with a loading door, presumably the local walnut or citrus packing house along what is now Old Valley Boulevard. The unused card only has a pencil inscription on the reverse of "Puente, CA." With some browning, a stain at the upper left of the image, and edge wear, the overall condition is good.
