Description

A real photo postcard of a house in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, 9 December 1909. The image shows the two-story Craftsman-style residence with Romanesque-style facing and patio walls, a side porch cover and what might be a porte cochere to the right. The grounds have cactus, bushes and shrubs, a lawn with a running sprinkler, and some mature trees. On the reverse is a Christmas message from the home's owner to an addressee in Carlisle, England. With some light soiling and minor edge rubbing, the condition is good.
