Description
A real photo postcard of a Los Angeles Railway conductor next to the Griffith Avenue line car 1046, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. Wearing his uniform and hat, as well as work gloves and his change-maker, the man stands next to the trolley, which appears to be in a raliway yard near some hills (perhaps the Elysian), though the line ran in South Los Angeles, including to Vernon, as well as the city post office. The unused card has major discoloration, as well as edge rubbing, stains and soiling and is in fair condition
