Description
A black and white real photo postcard of a man aboard an ostrich with his wife standing next to them, Los Angeles Ostrich Farm, 3 October 1914. The closeup shows the man, wearing a light colored suit and hat and dark shoes astride the bird, while his wife, wearing a dark coat, skirt and hat with a white floral ornament on it stands next to the bird and has her left arm leaning on it. In the background are portions of pipe fencing and trees in the landscape of the facility near Lincoln Park. The postally used card has a message, address and stamps and, with much soiling, some staining and a few creases, is in fair condition.
