Description
A real photo postcard of a structure at Camp Rincon, San Gabriel Canyon, postmarked 27 August 1914. The structure has lower walls of stone and a central stone chminey with the upper portion of the walls in wood and long windows flanking the chimney. The building is set near a thick profusion of what appear to be oak trees, while part of the San Gabriel Mountains are to the left. The camp was located on the east fork of the San Gabriel River. A message makes reference to the war just begun in Europe. With minor soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.
