Description
A real photo postcard of a vine-covered house, Los Angeles, 1 September 1909. The image shows the front and left side of a two-story Craftsman-style house with a bougainvillea plant growing up the left side of the front porch and much of the left side of the structure. A second floor dormer window balcony has profusions of flowers and planter boxes at another second story window have flowers, as well. A message from the owner discusses this landscaping, which also includes lawns, palm trees and a walk and steps leading to the residence from the street. With soiling, creases corners and rubbing, the overall condition is good.
