Description
A black and white real photo postcard of a woman and children at a south Los Angeles house, 18 June 1911. The view is taken from the street and shows the mother with three children and a baby in a stroller on the front lawn and steps to the two-story two-gabled Craftsman house with a full front porch, a dormer window and dark wood siding. The lot to the left is empty and parts of homes on a neighboring street are in the distance. Landcape included a lawn, walk and a new tree in the median by the street. At the bottom left is the address of 933 E. 43rd Street and the house is extant. With heavy staining at the top and reverse, soiling and abrasions, the condition is fair.
