Description
A real photo postcard of a woman and man with an ostrich-drawn cart, Los Angeles Ostrich Farm, Lincoln Heights, postmarked 19 September 1927. The woman sits in the cart, which has the farm name and location (across from Lincoln Park) on the side and holds the reins which are attached to the bird. Her husband stands behind the vehicle. Some of the landscape of the farm is behind the couple. A message from the woman to a grandson in Massachusetts is on the reverse of the postally used card, which has some yellowing, slight warping, abrasion and soiling, but is in good overall condition.
