Description
A real photo postcard of aviator Archibald Hoxsey, possibly at an air race, Dominguez Ranch, December 1910. The view shows Hoxsey's craft in motion (and, therefore, blurred) quite low to the ground near an area with many trees, possibly a grove, and, in the foreground, what may be a grandstand. Hoxsey was killed on the last day of the year after trying to establish a new altitude record. With many small stains and much soiling, along with edge rubbing, the condition is fair.
