Description

A real photo postcard of aviator Charles Lindbergh and his mother, Underwood, probably 1927. The famed flier wears a shirt and tie, jacket, riding trousers, tall socks and shoes. His mother, Evangeline Lodge Land Lindbergh, wears a knee-length dress, white hose, a fur-lined coat and a cloche hat. They stand near an open car and by a building at an unidentified location. There is a simple greeting and address on the reverse along with stamps and the cancellation. With minor ink stains, soiling and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
