Description

A real photographic postcard of Charter Oak's Post Office, Covina, California, ca. 1910s. This is an exterior photograph of men and women standing in front of a two story building which houses the Post Office. There is a train car on the left and the building has visible windows, a door and chimney as well as two signs on the front. One sign states the elevation is at 727 feet and informs they are 25 miles from Los Angeles; the other informs that Pomona Sanitary Laundry and Post Office are inside. The stamp box indicated that this was published between 1908 and 1920s. With moderate fading, overall discoloration, abrasion damage and stains, the object is in fair condition.
