Description
A real photo postcard of the Bovard Hall administration building at the University of Southern California, postmarked 5 October 1921. The newly-completed structure, designed by John and Donald Parkinson, housed the offices of the school president and others, while also containing a 1,200-seat auditorium. It faced the then-public Trousdale Parkway with the south side along 36th Street, with this area completely within the secured campus today. The view is from 36th east of Trousdale near Alumni Park. A message mentions going to the campus if the recipient visited from Fresno. With edge bumping, a creased upper right corner and some soiling, the condition is good.
