Description
A real photo postcard of the Broadway Arcade Building, Los Angeles, postmarked 5 June 1928. The image, taken from across the street in an upper floor of another structure, shows the eleven-story commercial building with its broad arched opening to the arcade running through the edifice. Red, white and blue bunting decorates the lower floors and there are flags and other decorations on upper floors. Portions of adjacent structures are in view and there is a caption in white at the bottom with the building name, the city, and the number "25." A short message is on the reverse of the used card. With part of a pink cancellation on the front covering much of the subject, as well as soiling, creases, and edge abrasion, the condition is fair.
