Description
A real photo postcard of the City of Long Beach entry at the Tournament of Roses, Pasadena, 1 January 1929. The view shows the float, which is titled "My Garden" and is, naturally, abounding in flowers, as well as floral hedges and an arch at the top. At the top are several women seated or standing. At the bottom left is an inscription indicating that the float was awarded a prize. In the background right is a Craftsman-style house and a few persons in uniform next to the street. The overall condition is good with light soiling and edge abrasion.
