Description
A real photographic postcard of the Covina Hospital, Covina, California, ca. 1920s. The structure was the former home of Charles E. Bemis. The hospital opened in 1922 by two newly graduated nurses and was located on the northwest corner of Badillo and Second. The site is now the location of commercial buildings and businesses. There is a small sign on the lawn that reads "COVINA HOSPITAL entrance." Four large palm trees line the street and a Model T automobile is parked in front of the hospital. There is a name written in ink, "Hattie" on the back of the postcard. With stains and light discoloration, it is in good condition overall.
