Description

A real photo postcard of the Hollywood Bowl, ca. 1920s. The view is taken from the top of the hillside seating area and shows a packed crowd watching a performance from musicians in the bandshell, which was erected in the late 1920s. People not only stand near the photographer in an open area, but also stand on sections of the hillside at the left. Some cars are parked in the undeveloped ravine behind the bandshell. A caption is at the bottom and the card is unused. With minor soiling and abrasions along the edges, the condition is good.
