Description
A real photo postcard of the Los Angeles County exhibit, National Orange Show, San Bernardino, postmarked 24 February 1930. The display is an Art Deco, highly geometric rendering of a building, perhaps the city hall, with the county name at several places and layered rows of fruit on the facing of the structure and the gently sloping floor beneath. There are large corner posts and smaller ones in between linked by chain and the display is in a large tent with a billowing fabric ceiling, orange designs and a butterfly hanging from it. With creased corners, one almost detached, soiling and abrasions, the condition is good.
