Description

A real photo postcard of three Mission Play performers, ca. 1920s. The names of the performers have been inscribed onto the black and white photograph from left to right as "Carmen," "Silvia," and "Soledad." The women are dressed as Spanish dancers from the play and posed around a Spanish guitar. A lake, mountainous silhouettes, and the side of a building with a stone motif are visible in the background. Faded ink has made the last name hard to discern. The card was published by Kruxo. With material from another paper object which has become adhered to the back side, minor tears, minor cracking, moderate loss on the back side, adhesive residue, minor stains, and minor abrasions/early signs of silverfish damage, the object is in good condition overall.
