Description
A real photo postcard of two sailors in a train backdrop studio portrait, Los Angeles, January 1920. The pair, in their uniforms, lean on a rail designed to look like the back platform of a locomotive, and a sign reading "Los Angeles Special" is above them, while another reading "Minneapolis" and "46692" hangs from the rail. On the reverse is a pen inscription, "J.F. Holder and C. Lyons / Los Angeles Jan. 1920." With mounting corner residue, soiling, abrasions and warping, the overall condition is fair.
