Description
A real photo postcard of two women at a Venice, California photo studio, June 1906. The image shows one woman seated on a bench while the other stands behind it. A backdrop of a wharf is in the background. The seated woman wears a long white dress and black flat top hat and holds a black purse in her white-gloved hands. The other woman has a light-colored jacket and skirt with a white blouse and gloves, while her hat has floral decorative elements. At the right is a message to a San Gabriel woman and refers to the writer returning home to San Gabriel. The postally used card has a stamp, postmark and cancellation. With staining, slight curvature and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
