Description
A real photo postcard, "Oil Wells -- Huntington Beach Cal.," by E. C., ca. 1920s. The view is taken from alongside a dirt road that curves at the left. On either side are the derricks of about ten wells. A house and a smaller structure, perhaps a garage, are nearer to the photographer than the wells. The caption is in white at the bottom. On the reverse of the unused card are remnants of photo album paper. With minor warping, soiling and the aforementioned residue, the overall condition is good overall.
