Description
A real photo postcard, "On the Beach, Balboa," postmarked 7 August 1929. The image, taken perhaps from a lifeguard tower, shows a crowded beach with many persons in the water and on the sand, some of the latter under umbrellas. In the distance are beachfront residences on the island off Newport Beach. The caption is in white at the bottom with the identification number "B 29." The postally used card has a message and address, as well as the various stamps. Some ink is also on the front top off the image. With minor soiling, edge abrasion and moderate fading, the overall condition is fair.
