Description
A real photo postcard panoramic view of the Signal Hill oil field, Hoffman Photo Service, ca. 1920s. Taken from atop a tall structure, the image shows a residential area in the foreground with a forest of dozens of derricks and associated structures atop the hill in the background. The caption and photo company name are at the bottom left and right, respectively. The unused card has some soiling and minor edge rubbing, so the condition is overall good.
