Description
A real photo postcard, "Park Scene, L.A., Cal.," Photo Card Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1910. The scene is from a bank of the lake at Westlake (now MacArthur) Park, showing the lush landscaping, portions of a walkway along the shore and, in the distance, a small section of nearby buildings. An inscription on the reverse of the unused card mentions that a Thanksgiving dinner was held at the park "and it wasn't frozen over either." With a couple of small edge creases not affecting the image, light staining and soiling and a small area of fading, the overall condition is good.
