Description
A real photo postcard, "Pasadena Rose Tournament / Alhambra," Beam, Los Angeles, ca. 1921. The view shows a six-horse drawn float with a Moorish structure, a low surrounding wall with standards at the corners, and several men dressed in Bedouin-like clothing on the float, including a man holding the reins. A few men, also in tribal-like costume, walk alongside the vehicle as it moves down a street lined with spectators. The title is in white at the top. With some fading, light soiling, and minor edge rubbing, the postally unused card is in good overall condition.
