Description
A real photo postcard "Scene at Cold Brook Camp," by Wright M. Pierce, ca. 1920s. The image is taken from the opposite side of a creek just past a rustic footbridge and looks towards a wooden structure, witha sign saying "Hotel Coldbrook" hanging at the entrance, that is likely the lodge of the camp, located in San Gabriel Canyon. Two men are to the right of the building, while several others sit on steps of what appear to be cabins to the left. The title is at the lower left and the photographer's stamp on the reverse of the unused card, which has minor soiling, stains on the reverse and edge abrasions, it is in good condition.
