Description
A real photo postcard, "The Lodge — Switzer-Land (Chapel A Love)," ca. 1920s. The view is taken from next to a rock retaining wall with the lodge building of wood frame and rock under some oak trees. A door directly ahead is for the office and store. Extending toward the photographer from the rock section is a rough wood arbor with vines climbing the poles, but not reaching the trellis. The postally unused card has some fingerprint marks on the reverse, slight soiling and edge abrasion, but is in good overall condition.
