Description
A real photographic postcard, three women, studio portrait, Los Angeles, 1 May 1907. The image was taken at a studio along the route of a floral parade in Los Angeles. A photograph covers the left half and a pencil inscription on the right. Two young women are seated in a wicker chair with a third standing behind them, arms resting on the back of the chair. All three women wear a light colored blouse puffed at the chest. Hair tied up in a bun, underneath a wide brimmed hat decorated with flowers, gloved hands hold a folded piece of paper. Two women wear eyeglasses. There is a floral backdrop. The postcard is in good condition with a postage stamp adhered on the reverse, minor surface soiling throughout.
