Description
A real photographic postcard, Fourth Street Looking East, Santa Ana, 15 July 1909. The image is by J. Bowers Photo Company, Long Beach and Los Angeles. A view looking down the middle of the street. There are commercial buildings on both sides, including a sporting goods store and a Coca-Cola advertisement on the side of the building. There are pedestrians on the sidewalks as well as a few parked automobiles. The postcard includes a pencil inscription addressed to a residence in La Puente. The postage stamp has been removed. With several pin holes at the top right corner, minor loss, and discoloration, the object is in fair condition.
