Description
A real photographic postcard of an ice plant, Azusa, ca. 1900. This is possibly a view of the Azusa Ice and Storage Company. A birds-eye view of the complex of buildings nestled tightly on open land surrounded by a line of tall trees in the background. Plumes of smoke are escaping from the flues of two of the larger buildings. The postcard is unused and includes a sailboat postage stamp box. There is an ink inscription on the front. The item is in fair condition with moderate staining to the surface of the photograph and fading.
